What is a Workspace
A workspace is a place where you can manage multiple datasets and projects. Workspaces are the parent structures that include projects and datasets. Workspaces are mapped to the login, which means your access permissions to workspaces are defined by your administrator.
Users can select any workspace, in which they want to work, directly from the home page.
Scenario: Roger visits the workspace, finds, and studies the relevant information as instructed by Sandra. He now has access to the projects, workbooks, workflows, and all the datasets that are present in the new workspace. |
Once you have access to a workspace created by the administrator, you can perform different tasks related to your projects. When you have access to a workspace, you also have access to the following elements within that workspace by default.
- Projects
- Workbooks
- Workflows
- Dashboards
- Datasets
The table below shows the components in a workspace and the tasks you can perform on those components as a user.
